RUMOURS: Mourinho wants THREE superstars at Manchester United

The former Chelsea boss is expected to replace Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford this summer and is already drawing up transfer plans, with Gonzalo Higuain top of his Wishlist

Jose Mourinho is already planning for life at Manchester United should he replace under-pressure Louis van Gaal, and he wants to sign three bona fide superstars according to Don Balon.

The Spanish outlet say Mourinho has begun scouting targets and drawing up transfer plans, with Napoli's Gonzalo Higuain, Real Madrid playmaker James Rodriguez and Juventus forward Alvaro Morata all on his radar.

Mourinho worked with Higuain at Madrid and United have already sounded out Napoli over a summer move, though they will need to fork out £58 million to land the Argentine.

The Red Devils also face a battle to sign Morata, though Madrid are ready to activate his buy-back clause and sell to the highest bidder, while James will be made available this summer after struggling to make an impression in the Spanish capital.
